From the Greek Peak Ski Club members: The club is bringing the Warren Miller ski film Dynasty to the State Theatre of Ithaca this Friday, Oct 30 at 7pm and all ticket proceeds go toward the non-profit club to keep youth program prices more accessible to all.

Dear film, winter, mountain, or skiing enthusiast. Want a great way to kick-off the winter of 2010-11? Why not get your friends together and head down to the State Theatre of Ithaca to see Central New York's only showing of "The Story", a debut film by the producers of The Ski Channel.

Legends Bode Miller, Lindsey Vonn, and other stars of skiing, snowboarding, wing suit flying, river surfing and kite skiing recount their own stories of inspiration and heartache in this amazing film. Featuring awe-inspiring footage, this high-definition film showcases the talented and driven athletes who shape modern mountain sports. The insatiable hunger that propels these athletes is on view in the peaks of Nepal, Antarctica, Chile and the United States. “The Story” travels around the world and into the lives of those who chase perfection down steep mountain terrain. This family film is the perfect prelude to the coming snows of winter.
