Do to the high volume of non-legitimate users, This forum is now set so new users must be REGISTERED AND approved by the admin. (Me, Mike) -- this might cause a slight delay, but I check my email often. This will keep out unwanted spammers. Email me if you want to register and or just send me the text if you want me to post something here ... I can put it up in a jiffy! Thanks Smile

For the privacy of the gang, I would like to be able to tell folks that I know each and every one of you. So please: when you set up your log in user name, make it recognizable -OR- use an email address that is on Mike's email list so I know who you are (I can see it in admin mode even if you hide it) - if you prefer to remain anonymous .. shoot me an email off the list(s) and I can honor that ... BUT! If I can't figure out who you are: I will DELETE you! Smile This is for the privacy of you and the rest of the gang.

Anyone who knows the link can read the messages - this will increase the usefulness of the forum to the this OUTDOOR community. But: you must register and log-in to post messages. Also you must register in such a way that I know who you are: either make your login name really obvious (like mine) or use the same email as you use for the listserve or send me a message so I know who you are. If I can't figure out who you are: I will delete you. But! DO PLEASE register - this opens up the networking options for bikes, hikes, runs and carpools etc. NEW? CLICK AROUND in this heading for HELP -- Thanks Mike_L

Also PLEASE use an email address that you check! This forum can be an awesome way to network with like minded folks, but if you use a yahoo (for example) that you never check, what is the point?

Why? If you click on "PM" near the user name who posted a message, you can send a message to that person .... the BB forwards to the email you used when you filled in the registration form. It is secure, the only one who can see the email address if you choose to hide it is me when I bother log in in admin mode, which takes 2 passwords!
