Candlelight Vigil on Memorial Day at DeWitt Park (Cayuga/Buffalo) May 31st
7:30 pm Opening....A solo fiddle: Amazing Grace
A remembrance of all that is lost in war... children,
families, soldiers, futures
3 songs... "Fall Creek Folk" asking people to bring
their voices.
Poetry from Vets and from non-vets as remembrance
3 songs
Specific remembrances of those who served that are gone
Prayers for the victims of wars
Circle closing and a re-committment to working for peace
If you bring a song, bring 15 copies of the lyrics
CANDLES should be in glass for wax catchment!
