Mike and Marilyn snow shoed on Tuesday night from Canaan Rd with 3 dogs.  We went up the sauna trail and took the snow mobile trail to Red Man Run.  There is still full coverage except for a very few south facing spots. In areas along side the drainage ditch along RMR, we could see that there is still well over a foot of base.  The base is hard with a 1/2 inch of powder on top.  I wouldn’t recommend skiing but if we get a few inches it should be skiable again soon.    It was 10 deg. F when we finished up around 8:15 pm.

Well - I don’t want to send an email for this: If anyone else is getting multiple copies of this morning’s email, sorry! IT IS NOT ME! It seems to be some sort of glitch with GMAIL(?). The list-serve actually has an emergency “shut-off” so I turned it off, but it is not coming from the list-serve … it is from gmail (or yahoo?) … I subscribe to my own lists on yahoo to be sure the messages are going through ok … and it’s working “too well” today: I got like 9 copies. Apologies! This actually happened once before: same scenario gmail-yahoo connection.
