Hello from CROWmarley

I am thrilled to report that our wonderful work at These Voices Heard has rippled out to so many places! One such ripple went all the way to New Mexico where Indigenous singer/songwriter Star Nayea makes her home. Star has agreed to sing for the Grand Gathering on Sunday, October 5 - at Bailey Hall - 3-5pm!

Star is a 2006 Grammy Award recipient and currently up for two NAMAs (Native American Music Awards), which are being held this Saturday at the Seneca Niagara Events Center. (Star has generously agreed to drive to Ithaca after the awards and perform for us. She is only asking for help to cover her costs to Ithaca and $100.00 to pay her guitarist.

It is my thought that we could keep the These Voices Heard energy unfolding by selling the remainder of our festival tee-shirts and offering her an "honorarium" from the sales.

How about 5 bucks a shirt? We still have all sizes available. Not only will we be able to put remainder of the shirts towards supporting a fellow artist, but we will also be able to spread the vibration of of "MUSIC, ART, POETRY, COMMUNITY, UNITY - THE FOUR DIRECTIONS - AND ALL PEOPLES" that is represented on the shirt.

Let me know if you would like to get some shirts - email me at this site and I will make arrangements with you for delivery.

Hope to see you at the Grand Gathering or other events scheduled during next week.
If you would like an events schedule go to www.womensgathering.com

Peace and Many Thanks,
CROWmarley

Update from CROWmarley

Hey Everyone - I goofed on the time of the Grand Gathering - It's 2 - 5 pm (not 3-5 as my first msg indicated) on Sunday, Oct. 5 - at Bailey Hall - Cornell Campus

and again for a full schedule go to www.womensgathering.com

oops - hope I didn't cause too much of a panic...

I will have tee shirts with me that day too if anyone wants to pick one up there - probably at the end of the program - let me know.

Peace,
CROWmarley
