About Muriel:
One of the world’s most respected fingerstyle guitarists and harp-guitarists, Muriel Anderson is the first woman to have won the National Fingerpicking
Guitar Championship. She is host of the renowned “Muriel Anderson’s ALL STAR GUITAR NIGHT®” and founder of the Music for Life Alliance charity.
Her facility across the genres of folk, classical, jazz, bluegrass and international music is revered by guitarists worldwide. Her unique approach to
the instrument virtually transforms the guitar into a lyrical choir, then a marching band, then a Japanese koto, then a Bluegrass band, one minute
launching into a Beatles tune and the next, Chopin’s Minute Waltz. Touring in the USA and internationally year round, she continually amazes audiences
with her technique and endears them with her sense of humor.
“Acoustic guitarist Muriel Anderson… has justifiably gained a reputation as one of the world’s best, and most versatile, guitar instrumentalists.” …
Chicago Tribune
About Loren:
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Loren-Barrigar
Barrigar’s exceptionally clean technique, reminiscent of the late Chet Atkins, is complemented by sensitive timing and fluid phrasing. On stage, he has a
relaxed but energetic presence while moving easily among rock songs, old-time standards and original tunes. Since settling in Central New York, Barrigar
has been in constant demand as a studio musician and has continuously gigged with bands across the region. He is also a founding member of the Syracuse
Guitar League.
“Barrigar belongs on that short list of the very best local performers who can hold their own on any stage.” — Larry Hoyt, WAER
“Loren is one of the most accomplished finger-style guitarists in the Northeast.” — Art Wenzel, Auburn Citizen _________________ Michael Ludgate - forum administrator

About Bob:
Bob Evans is an award winning, Canadian finger-style guitarist. He combines an eclectic mix of contemporary finger-style guitar and traditional roots music with a warm vocal style, tilted sense of humour and down to earth stage presence to provide a refreshing performance experience for music lovers in general. Definitely not just for “guitar geeks”.
He has won the prestigious U.S. National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship ( Winfield, Kansas 2003), and two of his recordings – 4 On 6 and Caffeinated Coffee – have been awarded Outstanding Instrumental Album at the Western Canadian Music Awards (WCMA). A third CD, The Voice in the Grain, was nominated for Instrumental Album at the Canadian Folk Music Awards and the WCMA.
“Bob effuses the melodic spirit of Chet Atkins and the fiery verve of Tommy Emmanuel with his own sense of humour here. Never self indulgent, each track is quick to the richly spirited and melodic chase.” - Penguin Eggs
