Saturday Jam -- This only happens now and then and we won't commit to a predictable schedule. So, if you haven't made it out to one of these, now is your chance. We are lucky to have a large enough rural space that we can gather quite a nice mix of musicians in one place just for the fun of it. Last jam we had some Klezmer, some Irish harp, some southern old time and some bluegrass along with our usual strong base of very old traditional New England tunes ... a wonderful variety of traditional music. We just put up one of those screened in tents in the yard - if the weather is warm enough some folks might gather there, and there is of course the usual heated space in the shop and the farm house. Potluck dinner starts at 5:30 and music after we are done eating usually by 7:00 pm .. and no you DO NOT have to be a musician! It's ok to just listen ... the musicians often come with friends or family to share the joy of folk music: there is nothing else like it really. Some of what I just said plus a bunch more like directions and etc.. on the web page.
