Wingnut is Michael Stark on Hammond organ, rhodes, & microsynth, Walt Lorenzut on electric bass & gadgets, and Zaun Marshburn on drums. The far-reaching scope of this trio's experience lends itself well to the originality of Wingnut's music. Defying strict categorization, the band's compositions are a blend of genres...jazz, cinematic soundscapes, dub, blues, rock, middle eastern, jungle, funk, & hip-hop.

2. Nancy Magarill

Date: Sunday, March 4th, 2012
Time: 7pm
Website: http://www.nancymagarill.com
Genre: avant pop/rock

An eclectic mix of poetry and avant pop/rock; an infusion of vocals, soaring strings, drums, beats and the unusual twists and turns in storytelling from a no-holds-barred lyricist.

Nancy Magarill has pretty big girl balls. -Mary Leary, San Diego Entertainment Magazine

3. Common Railers

Date: Friday, March 9th, 2012
Time: 5:30pm-8:30pm
Website: http://www.commonrailers.com

Genre: country/blues/pop/rock
Price: FREE

The Common Railers sound ranges from more traditional folk and bluegrass, to singer-songwriter, pop and americana. Songwriting is shared by guitarist Peter Glanville and mandolin, banjo and accordion player Gordon Rowland, who often collaborate on the band's original material. Upright bassist Mike Costello and drummer Shane Hartman add intricate grooves to the bands original material. You can often hear Chad Crumm's soaring fiddle lines or funky banjo solos adding the finishing touches to the songs.

Goes well with a sweet.

Jennie's phenomenal talent and down-home style can be compared with Gillian Welch and Lucinda Williams. Her strong yet intimate vocal style and the vivid imagery portrayed by her lyrics gently draw the listener into her world. Despite the often sombre mood, you'll find yourself strangely at one with her perspective. www.jenniestearns.com.

7. ADRIANNE (of The Rescues) Album Release with guest Natalia Zuckerman

Time: 7:00 pm
Website: http://www.therescues.com, www.nataliazuckerman.com
Genre: Acoustic Rock
Price: FREE

ART IS SONG TOUR AND ALBUM RELEASE: "Me After You"! Award-winning singer-songwriter (and Felicia favorite) ADRIANNE has been playing, writing and performing for over ten years, by way of Miami, Boston, Toronto, London, Atlanta, and now Los Angeles. She's been focusing on her phenomenal popular band, The Rescues, for the last few years, but now she's got a new solo album out. She has shared the stage with artists like Bonnie Raitt and Jackson Browne, and performed on The Folk Boat cruise with Patti Griffin, Lyle Lovett, and Emmylou Harris. ADRIANNE has a voice that is uniquely beautiful and moving and songs that go straight for the truth. Her intensely personal lyrics, innovative open tunings, and riveting performance style have critics and industry leaders fairly gushing over her prodigious creative gifts. She's also creating phenomenal art now - paintings, jewelry, and the like - and will be bringing some with her to share and sell.

5. The Small Kings

Date: Sunday, June 17th, 2012
Time: 7pm-9pm
Website: http://www.myspace.com/thesmallkings
Genre: rockin' acoustic
Price: FREE

Playing harmony-infused funky Americana rock, acoustic pop, alt-country and the occasional stray old-time tune, the most common adjective used to describe The Small Kings music is 'fun'. Jeff McCaffrey (guitar, mandolin, vocals), Mike Levy (bass, ukele, vocals), Frank Raponi (guitar, harmonica, banjo, vocals) and Joel Blizzard (drums) play together seamlessly, like an experienced basketball team: they can pass and catch the ball without eye contact and they have each others backs. The positive friction between the four band members adds a playful spark to their music. Simultaneously melodic, upbeat and groovy, most of their songs are originals, with their sound being compared to the likes of Rufus Wainright, Crosby and Stills (no Nash), Neal Diamond and Ben Folds, with Bootsie Collins and Grateful Dead influences peeking through as well. Their first full-length cd, Eating Oranges After Dark, was released in November 2008.
