A New Season of Clogging Begins in September 2006

I hope you all had a wonderful summer and are ready to shuffle back into another season of clogging.

Beginner Clogging
Wednesday Evenings from 6 - 7pm
Classes start 9/20/06 (10 once a week sessions)
So what can you expect from a clogging class? A group dressed in casual clothes and loud shoes, ready to have a lot of fun. Join me in this fast-growing style of dance. It is a true American dance form that stresses aerobic exercise and dance techniques. No previous dance experience or partner required. Tap or clogging shoes can be used, but are not mandatory. Bring water, an open mind and, most of all, the readiness to have a lot of fun!
*Please note: I will not accept any new students to the beginner class after the second class session (9/27).


Fun Clogging with the Cayuga Lake Cloggers
Wednesday Evenings from 7-8pm
Meetings start 9/20/06
Already know how to clog? Please join the Cayuga Lake Cloggers during their weekly meetings for more clogging fun. During these sessions there will be a review of those routines already learned as well as new, more difficult steps and routines. Everyone is welcome to these meetings even if you do not wish to perform.


*Please note: Due to the contract with the practice facility I can not officially charge a fee for these classes. I am therefore asking for a donation of around $5 per class session ($50 total) to help cover the expenses of hosting such classes such as handouts, music, insurance etc. Thank you.

Try this fun and lively dance known as clogging. Clogging is a popular percussive dance that is similar to tap and Irish step dancing. While traditional clogging is done to bluegrass and country music, contemporary precision clogging can be done to any type of upbeat music, including country, pop, rap, and even Broadway show tunes. It's easy to learn, a great way to exercise and is fun for all ages. It's fast paced and gets the foot stomping, hand clapping attention from any audience. This course teaches the fundamentals of clogging. The nationally-recognized set of basic steps will be taught, laying a solid foundation for the student to enter the fun and exciting world of clogging.

Learn to Clog 2008

Come try this fun and lively dance known as clogging. Clogging is a

Classes held at the Center for the Arts of Homer
Cost: $55 per person. Sign up with a friend and each pay $50
Classes are taught by a nationally certified clogging instructor.
