Cornell Cinema Welcomes Harpist Leslie McMichael
with a Screening of Peter Pan (1924)
Saturday, November 17 at 2pm
in Willard Straight Theatre

As part of its semi-annual IthaKid Film Festival, Cornell Cinema will present a screening of the beloved silent classic Peter Pan by Herbert Brenon, starring Betty Bronson as Peter Pan and Anna May Wong as Tiger Lily. As a very special treat, harpist Leslie McMichael will perform live musical accompaniment of her own score for the film. Brenon’s film is the first of the many cinematic versions of the Peter Pan story, and it remains arguably the best, expertly capturing the innocent and enthralling magic of the tale.

Harpist Leslie McMichael has been wowing audiences with her original score for the film since she premiered it in Seattle in 2007.

She is currently touring venues on the East Coast.



Tickets are $6 for adults and $5 for kids 12 & under



The IthaKid Film Festival is cosponsored with the Ithaca Youth Bureau
