STEVE GOLLNICK will NOT be playing on March 14 at Felicia's. This show is cancelled (rescheduled to May 9).

Instead, NICK BULLOCK (of the band REVISION) will be playing at solo show at Felicia's at 7pm on Sunday March 14. Here's the details:

Artist: Nick Bullock (of the band Revision)
Date: Sunday March 14
Time: 7pm
Genre: Experimental pop
Website: www.myspace.com/nicholasbullock
Cover: FREE

For the past eight years Nick Bullock has honed his skills crisscrossing the country on tour with his band, Revision, playing over one hundred and fifty concerts a year. Nick Bullock will be bringing all of this experience with him when he performs his solo show at Felicia's Atomic Lounge.

Nick was raised in a small mid west town by his preacher father and medicine-woman mother. He first discovered a love for music playing for his church congregation in Rochester, NY, then rapidly developed a desire to switch to the dance hall crowd.

Nick's East Coast upbringing has indelibly stamped his musical style, evident in everything from his New York City lyrics to his North Carolina picking. Studying Jazz and composition at Ithaca College enabled him to develop an understanding for the nuances of music's language, while his appreciation for a vast range of musical styles - from the Beatles to Ellington to Beethoven - gave him the proper tools to communicate.

Nick's story? Guy meets guitar, guy falls for guitar, guy marries guitar. somewhere along the line guy gets disenfranchised with his marriage. guy meets songs, guy falls for songs, rendezvousing at mysterious and smoky clubs late at night. guitar confronts guy about his affair with songs... at the end of the day, guy, guitar and songs realize this will work out just fine for all three of them.

A change at Felicia's Atomic Lounge:

Friday June 4 will NOT be the Aceto Lieberman Quartet.
The Aceto Lieberman Quartet has been rescheduled to FRIDAY JUNE 25, 5:30pm-8:30pm.

MICHAEL HANSEN and THE TRAVELING CREATURES will play FRIDAY JUNE 4, 5:30pm-8:30pm. No cover.
www.myspace.com/travelingcreatures
Now that this band has acquired a bus, they now have the ability to tread that delicate line between the slums and the high-rises, the roof-beam carpenters and the sewer rats. Led by banjo player Michael Hansen, their music is pulled from the great wellsprings of human endeavor, resulting in murder ballads, party songs, fiddle breakdowns, hoppy rags, old-time, good country, new songs and old songs mixed together. This band likes to have more happening in the room than just a bunch of folks on stage singing and playing. When they play it is not a concert but an event. Costumes will be involved and you will find yourself reading different kinds of books once you return back to your home.

Felicia's Atomic Lounge is pleased to announce June's AlleyArt show: Plants Under The Influence by Emily Benning. The Opening Reception will be Tuesday, June 1 from 5:30pm-7pm. All of Felicia's sustainable outdoor art shows are based on works created from recycled/reused materials. This show will be up from June 1 through June 30, 2010.

For Plants Under the Influence, Emily Benning is constructing giant plants from an obscene amount of packing peanuts and bubble wrap. The alley will be transformed into a virtual jungle of plants and insects made from recycled packing materials.

Benning's previous works can be viewed on these two websites:
