Hi Jammers one and all,
It has been brought to my attention by several folks that I neglected to talk about TIME in my invitation to the jam at our house. It is supposed to be a nice morning and deteriorating afternoon. If everyone could blow clouds away and help tomorrow evening be as lovely as today's that would be appreciated greatly!
On the subject of TIME, usually we gather around 6:00. Come on by earlier if you want to swim, especially if you are bringing children as getting them in, out and changed for supper can be time consuming. Anytime after 5:00 is just fine with us. We'll plan to eat by 6:30 so that we can start generating music around 7:30. We have lots of chairs but you might want your favorite bug repelling potion as the lights on the porch (required by August's waining evening light) attract many 6 legged annoyances. I can't wait to see you all!

Hello!
Some of you have heard samples of Keith Yates' guitar playing at the Candor Jams, but perhaps I've been the only one to hear him in his element, doing his own songs. So, I'm inviting you to come enjoy his original music in the hills of Candor on Saturday, Aug. 16.

Here's the general format:

6:00 You are invited to arrive for a dip in the pond if you'd like, or simply some hanging out time.
I'll have finger foods/chips/desserts/drinks. Any other contributions of food or favorite beverages
are welcome.

7:00 Keith in Concert! for about an hour (?) There will be a 'Gratitude' Tip Jar

8:00 Break for refreshments and let the jamming begin! If the weather is nice, jamming can happen down by
the pond and a campfire, too!

My musical brother Richard Pollack from Wheeling, WV will be up here with his wife, Marybeth and daughter, Liz.
Kelsie will be arriving home from the Adirondacks. Yea!

I'm looking forward to a very fun evening and hope you can come multiply the fun!

Just a reminder that there will be a Concert on my deck Saturday, Aug. 16th at 7:00, with a jam to happen afterwards. the Backyard opens at 6:00pm! Keith Yates will share his original songs and expertise guitar playing from 7:00 to around 8:00pm. We'll break for refreshments (contributions are welcome) and let the jamming begin!
It's a busy musical weekend, so have fun wherever you end up!

Dear Music Lovers One and All,
Cornell is back in session, public school startes on Wednesday.....life is getting "back to normal" meaning that schedules are settling down to a rhythm. How about working the Candor Jam into that schedule? The weather is lovely, roads all clear, and the music will be GREAT - if you are there. It is supposed to be hot that day and anyone who wishes to come down to Tioga County early is welcome to swim in our pond. The cool nights have brought the temperature down a bit, but, I think it is refresing and great! We look forward to seeing you at the Berg's on Main St. in Downtown Candor!!

The fall days are dwindling, cooling off and coloring nicely. It is pretty dark by Jamming time, making outside chores no longer a diversion. So come and chase the goblins of Halloween, Wall Street money matters, Wars and petulance, and the annual fall Bug by making music to fill the Berg's halls and even Main Street Candor! We'd love to see you all - old once familiar faces and new musical friends!

The Candor Jam on New Year's Day will be a holiday gathering at Carrie ad Dick's on Dry Brook Road.

I have been very slow in getting this message out, so I hope that word of mouth has been spreading the word

The Candor Jam on New Year's Day will be a holiday gathering at Carrie aNd Dick's on Dry Brook Road.
Since it is a holiday and few have to work, we decided to make it a real potluck. We'll make a big pot of soup and have some of Dick's bread as well. We will make Eggnog, and have a Stollen. Please bring something else along. Make a dish or just bring cheese, dip, wine, beer, chips, veges, fruit, or a dessert. We will welcome company any time after 5:30 in hopes that we can be singing shortly after 7:00.

We live 2.4 miles north of Gridleyville Crossing Road on Dry Brook on the corner of Tallow Hill Rd. We encourage parking at either end of the mchine shed across the street from the house. Some folks will probably end up parking on the road. If you do, park north of the machine shed for the purposes of visibility. Unfortunatey folks drive down our country road as if it were the freeway. Need more directions? Call 659-5003!

This is one of the highpoints of our holiday! So come, rekindle friendships, and SING.
