Hello,
Was wondering if any Broome County area musicians, folk community people, or contra dancers care to organize carpools for Ithaca Contra Dance and other Ithaca events?
I live near SUNY Bing. in Vestal. Summer's here and due to outrageous gasoline prices, I've drastically curtailed trips to Ithaca. In past summers, I've gotten: accustomed to / "spoiled" / pampered / nurtured by being able to spend lots of time in Ithaca. Longing for: Ithaca contra dances, organic food shopping at the farmer's market, jam sessions, museum talks, BFG, CFSS Sing events, concerts, and other soul nourishing arts events, I seek other Broome Co. people desirous of splitting gasoline expenses and reducing waste by carpooling with me to Ithaca. Are there any other Broome County people interested in carpooling with me to Ithaca events? Please contact me if interested. Thanks!
