I am a full-time Ithaca singing teacher with over 35 years experience.

I teach singing. Whatever you want to sing, I'll help that happen. I've had students go on to opera companies. I've had students front heavy alternative bands. I've had students appear in successful New York city productions. I've had students follow a singer-songwriter acoustic guitar career. I've worked many a successful jazz singer. I've helped some voices reverse the damage from years of abusive singing. I've had classical singers get their technique started before careers in major music schools. I don't impose my musical taste on a student; I help to bring out that student's musicianship in the safest, most bio-mechanically sound way possible for the individual's instrument.

Sometimes I have even helped students learn to match pitch and sing in tune.

Teaching is what I do. I have a passion for it. I don't teach on the side so I can financially support a singing career. I teach so I can teach. I've published, repeatedly, on voice pedagogy, and I've given workshops for professional voice pedagogues both across the country and internationally. I've presented before the National Association of Teachers of Singing, at the International Congress of Voice Teachers, at the Royal Conservatory of Music, and for the annual symposia of the Voice Foundation. So, no, I'm not a dilettante.

There are still a few spots available in my spring schedule, but not too many. Weekends and Wednesdays are completely full, but I have daytime slots available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. There is only one evening slot left.

To see my online schedule of available times, go to http://users.arczip.com/voxnaturalis/lessonsclasses/schedule.html.

From there you can poke around the rest of my website and find out more information than you would ever think to ask.

Lessons are a fifty-minute hour, scheduled weekly, at established times, at ten minutes after the hour (xx:10) between 10:10 am and 8:10 pm (per a clause in my University Hill studio lease). I do not teach on Mondays. Changes in scheduled time can occasionally be made to accommodate conflicts that may occur.

THE PRODUCT IS NOT THE GOAL.
Let the process deliver when mastery is achieved.
Oh, and yes, before you ask: Lessons are $50 per session.
There is a 20% discount for public school and matriculated students.
($40 per session).
