Q: OK, I give up - what is YFN?

A: Sorry. I explain this now and then, but not every time. YFN is an abbreviation for "Your Friends and Neighbors", an open acoustic folk dance band (open meaning it is a pick up band of whoever shows up and everyone is welcome, newcomers and beginners). This "band" has been in existence since the 1970's -- We play every Monday night on the Ithaca commons all summer long for contra dancers and for various other - usually public events like fundraisers and festivals ... there is more info at these links:
