*The Pickin’ In The Pasture bluegrass festival will be held August 25, 26,
27, and 28th *in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of NY State. The gates
open on this Wednesday! Pickin’ In The Pasture focuses on real bluegrass
music, not americana, swing, jazz, or new acoustic forms of music. This
year’s stage show lineup includes The Grascals, The Larry Stephenson Band,
Smokey Greene, The Jesse Alexander Band, Cabin Fever, The Larry Gillis Band,
Danny Paisley and the Southern Grass, The Beachley and Scott Band, Straight
Drive, Travers Chandler and Avery County, Michael Cleveland and Flamekeeper,
Lorraine Jordan and Carolina Road, Remington Ryde, Goldwing Express, and The

STILL needed! *See next paragraph ...

Longview jam has been canceled for the remainder of the summer. Attendance
at this jam has been light! Too light to continue for the summer. There are
a few core people who show steady interest in this jam, but Friday nights
have not been working out for any of them. We are considering changing the
jam day and time slot in September to see if a different day would work!?

Meanwhile the events coordinator is also looking for musicians to play for
the residents of Longview on any nights you are available. This would be
volunteer and any genre of acoustic music will be welcome. The residents

bluegrass on Friday, September 9, at the Taste of Tioga in Owego, NY,
starting at 5:30pm.  Taste of Tioga is being held at the Owego Treadway Inn

Gibson Brothers will open the Winter Village Fest on Friday, January 27.

Friday afternoon and perform two sets, one early and one later in the
evening on Friday. We are now negotiating with other bands and will keep you
posted as we sign on one or two other headliners. Suggestions of your
