Fri Mar 02    ITHACA NY - JAM and Waltz: Dancing to a Waltz Jam. This is
CNY's only "waltz jam". It is is an open band playing the "New England
standard waltzes" from The Waltz books (I,II &III). This takes place once
per month at 7:00 pm, first Friday of the Month for one hour preceding the
regular ITHACA NY Friday Contra dance at Bethel Grove Community Center
which starts at 8 pm ... a great warm up for the evening's contra dance.

Fri Mar 02    OSWEGO NY -- Ontario Center for Performing Arts is sponsoring
this month's contra dance, March 2, 2012 with a beginner's workshop at 7:00
pm and open dancing from 7:30 - 10:30 pm. Admission is $7 per person, $20
per family, $5 for students with valid id and $6 for Music Hall members.
The  music will be provided by HARVEY NUSBAUM AND BILL HENRIE, with caller
BOB NICHOLSON.  Location is The McCrobie Civic Center, 41 Lake St., Oswego,
